Nelly Korda shares selfie of her “all dolled up” in her $90,000 car
World no. 1 Nelly Korda recently took to Instagram to share a selfie. She took the selfie from inside her BMW X5, which is worth $90,000.
In the selfie Korda had her blonde hair left open with her sunglasses perched on top. She sported a white T-shirt, a pendant, and some makeup. She captioned the selfie as:
"All dolled up."
Korda's BMW X5 features several great features. The car offers hands-free driving at speeds upto 85 mph. The feature can be used on controlled-access highways. The advanced real-time traffic information keeps the driver updated on traffic reports and accident alerts. The car also has numerous safety features.
The 26-year-old has been enjoying some down-time from golf after a rigourous month of competitions. Earlier in August, she was in Paris for the Olympics. She then went to Scotland for the AIG Women's Open, where she not only had a tough line-up to beat, but also tricky weather conditions that slowed down the pace of play and caused longer wait times.
After the AIG Women's Open wrapped up, she immediately flew to New York to support her brother, Sebastian, at the US Open. Sadly, Sebastian Korda crashed out of the tennis tournament after a second round loss to Tomas Machac. She recently posted a story of her playing golf. After enjoying a break from the sport, she seems to have resumed practice, possibly in preparation for the upcoming Solheim Cup.
What tournament will Nelly Korda play next?
US golfer Nelly Korda will be next seen at the 2024 Solheim Cup. The world no. 1 has six LPGA Tour titles to her name this season, five of which were earned consecutively. She also picked up her second major title at the Chevron Championship and placed T2 at the AIG Women's Open. With her brilliant 2024 season, she automatically qualified for the Solheim Cup.
She will be joined in the squad by fellow automatic qualifiers Lilia Vu, Ally Ewing, Meghan Khang, Allisen Corpuz, Andrea Lee, Lauren Coughlin, Rose Zhang, and Alison Lee. US captain Stacy Lewis chose Jennifer Kupcho, Sarah Schmelzel, and Lexi Thompson as her wildcard picks.
At the previous edition of the tournament, Europe triumphed over the US after Nelly Korda lost out to Carlota Ciganda in the final playoff on the latter's home soil in Spain. This time, Korda will be looking for redemption as the US plays the host for the event. The 2024 Solheim Cup will take place from September 13-15 2024 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.
