Nelly Korda shares selfie from New York after deciding to not play in the NW Arkansas Championship

US golfer Nelly Korda is enjoying a much-needed downtime after an exhausting past few months. She was one of the several top players to opt out of the 2024 NW Arkansas Championship.

Korda has been very active on her Instagram account recently and has been updating her million followers through her stories. Based on her recent story, the world no.1 seems to be in New York City, US. She tagged her location to Devocion Flatiron which is a popular coffee shop in Manhattan, known for its Colombian coffee.

In the picture posted by Korda, she can be seen holding a takeaway coffee cup from the shop. She sported a green shirt and matching jacket and had left her hair open. The 26-year-old finished off her look with minimal makeup.

To say that Korda had an eventful 2024 so far would be an understatement. She picked up six LPGA Tour titles this year, five of which were consecutive. The star won her second major tournament at the Chevron Championship and placed T2 at the AIG Women's Open. She represented the Stars and Stripes twice this year, first at the Paris Olympics and then as a part of the winning US team at the recently concluded Solheim Cup.

US golfer Nelly Korda may be enjoying a well-deserved break but she hasn't yet pulled down the curtains on her 2024 season. She will next be seen at the BMW Ladies Championship from 17th to 20th October 2024 in South Korea.

Korda was last seen at the Korger Queen City Championship at the TPC River's Bend where she placed T5. At the tournament, she acknowledged the toll that the past few days had on her. She said, via ASAP Sports:

"Even though you're tired this week, I mean, with everything that went on last week, you're tired but not tired of golf. Coming out here and competing, doing what I love just gives me a little bit more energy boost,"

A couple of days back, Korda was in Pennsylvania as she reshared Seiji Liu's story of her playing golf at the Merion East Golf Club. In her string of updates, she also later mentioned that she was "on the move again" and left her audience guessing about her next destination, which can be now assumedto be the Big Apple.
