New details emerge as 2025 LIV Golf schedule sees major revamp

A few weeks ago, LIV Golf announced the locations of the first four tournaments of the 2025 season. At the same time, the circuit announced its intention to continue its strategy of reaching out to multiple countries and continents.

According to a report from Sports Business Journal, LIV Golf has already made progress in preparing for the upcoming season. According to the report, the four tournaments already announced (Riyadh, Adelaide, Hong Kong and Singapore) will be joined by five more events in the United States and five more in other countries.

International destinations include Valderrama in Spain and a yet-to-be-announced location in the United Kingdom. In the United States, LIV Golf would return to Chicago and Dallas, but not Nashville or Houston.

According to the report, Maridoe Golf Club in Texas will not host the Team Championship but will host a LIV Golf event as part of its regular schedule. An event is also planned for Indianapolis. The final location for the Team Championship has yet to be determined.

In total, the 2025 LIV Golf season is expected to include 14 tournaments, five on U.S. soil and nine in various international destinations. Last season, the total number of tournaments was the same and the schedule will be aligned with the season's four Majors.

The global reach of LIV Golf

Between 2022 and 2024, LIV Golf reached nine countries on four continents and 22 different cities. In some cases, locations have hosted more than one visit, such as Bedminster and Greenbrier in the United States, Adelaide in Australia and Andalucia in Spain.

These are the countries that have hosted LIV events:

The DP World Tour, on the other hand, will tour most of Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia as usual. The European tour will visit at least 25 countries (some locations are yet to be announced):
