Tiger Woods makes the 23rd consecutive cut at The Masters

Having won five Masters, being in the No.1 position for the longest time, and winning 15 majors, 110 professional events, and 82 PGA Tours, Tiger Woods' legacy is an inspiration for millions of people.

The American golfer never gave up on his dreams and always comes with a greater force to compete in tournaments. He is unarguably one of the most successful golfers in the world.

Tiger Woods turned professional in 1996 and won his first Masters in 1997. Despite being in pain at the 2023 Masters, he made the cut after the second round. It was his 23rd consecutive cut at The Masters, tied with Fred Couples and Gary Player.

Woods is one of three golfers who have successfully defended the Masters title in history. He won the green jacket in 2001 and defended it in the next year.

Woods won three major tournaments in a year. He won the PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open Championship in 2000

Tiger Woods has only played in the Genesis Invitational Open this year and then at Augusta. Unfortunately, he could not complete the Masters tournament due to his injury.

Last year as well, he was struggling with a leg injury but still played in the tournament and finished in the 47th position.

Woods is not the only one to withdraw from the 2023 Masters. Louis Oosthuizen also withdrew from the tournament after playing 17 holes of the second round and Kevin Na quit before starting the game.
