Bryson DeChambeau finished second at the 2024 PGA Championship, just one stroke behind champion Xander Schauffele. DeChambeau's performance was so extraordinary that he even came close to forcing the playoff after posting the best score of the fourth round.

In the excerpt from the book "LIV and Let Die" shared by Alan Shipnuk, you can read quotes attributed to DeChambeau, stating that the player was not very well accepted by his colleagues on the PGA Tour:
"A lot of my time out there was difficult. I was trying to get on the [Player Advisory Committee] for six years, and it never happened.
"You get voted onto it by the other players, and nobody liked the way I thought. I felt I had an interesting perspective on a lot of issues, I’d love to have been part of it, but they didn’t want me."
The excerpt also mentions quotes attributed to Anirban Lahiri, Bryson DeChambeau's teammate at the LIV Golf team Crushers GC. Lahiri gives his opinion on how well DeChambeau performs in social environments.
