“Not to bring anything personal”: Scottie Scheffler makes fun of Louisville on College GameDay appearance
Scottie Scheffler was spotted representing Team USA at the 2024 Presidents Cup in his last outing on a golf course. In that event, held at the Royal Montreal Golf Club, the World No. 1 golfer played a pivotal role as the Americans beat the International Team.
Since then, Scheffler has not been spotted on a golf course but appeared on ESPN College GameDay on Saturday, October 19. During his appearance, Scheffler, who was dressed in his green jacket, poked some fun at Louisville as he picked who would win in the game between Louisville and Miami.
Scottie Scheffler said:
“Not to bring anything personal into this with Louisville, great city, love the people… but Miami is gonna smoke them.”

It's also important to note that Scheffler picking Miami to beat Louisville went viral because earlier this year when the current Masters winner was in Louisville for the PGA Championship, he was arrested ahead of Round 2. However, the American golfer was also released and made it on time to complete his round.
What was the last PGA Tour event Scottie Scheffler played in, and how much did he earn?
While Scottie Scheffler's last appearance on a golf course came representing Team USA at the 2024 Presidents Cup, his last outing on the PGA Tour took place at the Tour Championship, which was played between August and September at the East Lake Golf Club. This event was won by Scheffler.
The American scored 65-66-66-67 in four rounds to win the event, thus winning the 2024 FedEx Cup. Another reason the win is memorable is because it marked Scheffler's seventh victory on the PGA Tour this year, which speaks a lot about the golf he has played.
