"Only in Singapore" - Fans react to Lydia Ko signing ultra-expensive Richard Mille watch
Lydia Ko was awestruck by her fans, who made her sign an ultra-expensive Richard Mille watch.
Appearing at the 2023 Aramco Team Series Singapore, the world's number one female golfer signed an autograph for a fan on a watch.
A TikTok account with the username Chamhuii uploaded a video of Lydia Ko signing the watch. She was heard saying:
"This is the most expensive thing I have ever signed."
Golf enthusiasts were pretty surprised to see a kid having such an expensive watch. They discussed it in the comments section of the TikTok post by writing:
"Excuse me, but did that kid have a Richard Mille watch?"
Cham replied to the user and said:
"Casually passed to him by his dad."
The watch was of his father, who handed it to the kid to get it signed by Lydia Ko. However, people were shocked and jotted:
"Not the Richard Mille. I have one gifted by my grandfather and that thing doesn't leave its box."
While one user highlighted how innocent the boy was, who didn't even know the value of the watch.
"He doesn't even realize the value of that watch."
Some jotted that this could only be possible in Singapore.
"Only in Singapore."
Richard Mille watches are very expensive and are sold exclusively to the upper-rich class majorly in Singapore. The limited edition watches cost millions of dollars.

Lydia Ko competed in the 2023 Aramco Team Series held in Singapore and finished in third position. Pauline Roussin won the tournament and took home $70K in prize money.
