Paige Spiranac goes on a beach walk with a golfing friend as they find a new fairway bunker: “She’s not wrong”
While Paige Spiranac may not be golfing professionally, she still has golf on her mind even when not on the course. She took a little break from appearances at the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona yesterday to join Samantha Marks for a walk.
Later, Spiranac posted a photo from their walk that Marks had shared on her Instagram story on her own story. While it shows their feet as they walk on a beach, the caption says it all, revealing the former professional golfer's words.
"This sand would make a great fairway bunker," Paige Spiranac said.
Marks agrees with Spiranac as she adds:
"I mean, she's not wrong."
Spiranac may not be golfing week in and week out like professionals, but she still has a lot of influence on the links.

Paige Spiranac never reached the LPGA Tour, but she did play on the Ladies European Tour. Making her professional debut in 2015 at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classis, she earned her first career victory in 2016 while playing on the Cactus Tour.
After retiring from professional golf, Spiranac started making videos of trick shots which skyrocketed her into social media stardom. She has now surpassed four million followers on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Samantha Marks never played golf professionally, but was a six-year letter winner in college. She currently works as the Media Relations Manager for the new TGL virtual golf league that is opening with its inaugural season in January 2025.
Spiranac is quite busy making media appearances, and still following the game she loves. She is currently at Daytona Beach for the NASCAR Cup Series' Coke Zero Sugar 400, but just three days ago was in Colorado at the BMW Classic. She is an Honorary Pace Car Rider and Event Official at this year's race.
Following the race, Spiranac will compete in the Creator Classic Golf Tournament on August 28th at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
The creator classic features 16 golf content creators playing the newly renovated back nine at East Lake. The creators will play eight holes of gross stroke play before the top four finishers compete in a playoff. Another unique twist to this tournament is that the 16 content creators will also be livestreaming their play on their social media platforms in real time.
Aside from Tyler Toney of Dude Perfect, Spiranac has the second most Instagram followers out of the other content creators. This new golf tournament featuring content creators is taking place the day before the Tour Championship is set to tee off at East Lake Golf Club.
