Paige Spiranac makes hilarious "breakfast balls" comment under 2024 Creator Classic post

Former golfer turned content creator, Paige Spiranac, is all set to return professionally to the sport with the 2024 Creator Classic. Spiranac is one of the 16 golf content creators chosen by the PGA Tour to participate in the tournament's inaugural edition.

The PGA Tour in association with Blackstone has organized the Creator Classic. The tournament will be played before the Tour Championship. It will be a nine-hole stroke-play event at the back nine of East Lake. The top 16 golf content creators will play in conditions similar to the FedEx Cup finalists.

Paige Spiranac is one of the leading golf content creators with a whopping 4 million followers on Instagram. She had a thriving amateur career and turned professional in 2015. However, she announced her retirement from the sport a year later.

Even though her professional career didn't pan out the way she must have expected, her retirement at the young age of 23 was a shocker. Spiranac later revealed that handling the pressure has been difficult. This started affecting her game, which prompted her to retire from golf.

After eight years, the 31-year-old is finally making her comeback. However, she may be feeling the jitters as she had a hilarious response on the PGA Tour's latest post about the Creator Classic. The league, in collaboration with the Tour Championship, announced the list of content creators teeing off at "the big stage". Spiranac commented under the post:

"Does the big stage allow breakfast balls or no?"

For the unversed, breakfast balls refer to a free extra shot given to a golfer on their first tee. Many golfers tend to mess up their first shot, so they are given a do-over referred to as breakfast balls in the golfing community.
