Paige Spiranac reveals 'trying' to collab with a £2 million YouTuber 'for years'
Social media sensation Paige Spiranac recently hinted at her collaboration with YouTuber Rick Shiels. The former American golfer is known for her active presence on the internet, often sharing valuable golf advice and related videos on various social media platforms.
She has amassed a fan base of around 4 million on Instagram and is also active on YouTube and X, alongside her subscription-based platform called Passes. Recently, Spiranac took to her Instagram account to seek suggestions from her fans for collaborations.
"Some fun collabs this year! Who should I collab with next year?" Spiranac asked.
To which one of the fans suggested:
"The OG Rick Shiels."
Replying to the fan, Spiranac revealed that she has been "trying" to shoot with the £2 million-worth YouTuber (via Golf Magic) for "years now" before stating that she would finally play with Shiels in 2025.
"We've been trying to film for years now! 2025 is the year I finally play golf with @rickshielspga," she wrote.

The year 2024 has been quite impressive for Spiranac. She started her new subscription platform, Passes, where she has been sharing interesting and unique golf content.

Paige Spiranac's social media presence has skyrocketed this year. Earlier this year, she collaborated with LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau for his popular golf challenge, Break 50. DeChambeau uploaded a video with Spiranac on March 21, where they participated in the popular challenge.

Following their collaboration, Spiranac opened up about DeChambeau's game and his unique style of play in one of her interviews in August 2024. She said (via Athlon Sports):
"I think that he is absolutely electric on the golf course. One, his game is so powerful and interesting to watch. But two, as a personality, he's really leaned into social media and able to connect with his audience on a much deeper level, which a lot of the professional golfers don't do."
"For him to be doing both so well, he really truly is growing the game of golf and he is the most interesting person in golf currently," she added.
Notably, Bryson DeChambeau has gained a lot of popularity on social media of late. His collaboration with Spiranac in the Break 50 challenge has so far garnered 2.6 million views. He has around 1.64 million subscribers on YouTube.
DeChambeau's Break 50 series is incredibly popular on the internet. For this series, he collaborated with several top-ranked golfers, sports stars, and even politicians. His video with Donald Trump has garnered around 13 million views, while his Break 50 challenge with John Daly has accumulated 6.1 million views so far.
