Paige Spiranac says she ‘can’t wait’ for her new role at the upcoming NASCAR race at Daytona

Paige Spiranac is excited about her new role, as she is set to be the Honorary Pace Car Rider and Event Official for NASCAR's Coke Zero Sugar 400 event. The event will take place on Saturday, August 24, at Daytona.

Spiranac is currently the most-followed golf social media influencer, boasting over 4 million Instagram followers and more than 1 million followers on X. Besides, she also has a keen interest in NASCAR and is often seen posting about it.

On Thursday, August 22, the Daytona International Speedway organizers announced that Spiranac would be the Honorary Pace Car Rider at the upcoming race.

The 30-year-old former professional golfer responded to the post.

"I can't wait," she wrote.

Besides Paige Spiranac, three more athletes will be guests at the race. The names include multi-time NCAA cross country and track & field champion Parker Valby and nine-time Olympic champion Caeleb Dressel. Three-time Olympic swimming champion Robert "Bobby" Finke will be the honorary starter and wave the green flag.


Paige Spiranac set to compete at the first-ever Creator Classic next week

Paige Spiranac will compete at the PGA Tour's first-ever Creator Classic, which is set to be played on Wednesday, August 28, at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.

Spiranac will be one of 16 golf content creators taking on each other at the event next week. The field will feature the likes of Wesley Bryan, Fat Perez of Bob Does Sports, and others. The event will be streamed on the PGA Tour's YouTube channels as well as by ESPN+ and Peacock.

The broadcast team will feature Hally Leadbetter, Bradford Wilson, Barstool Sports’ Jake Marsh, and Dan Rapaport. PGA Tour pro Joel Dahmen will also make his debut as a broadcaster.
