Luke Kwon was also surprised by his victory and shared a video on his Instagram account, thanking fans for their support and expressing his desire to create his own custom-designed course. He said:
"I am the inaugural winner of the Creator Classic. I still can't believe I am saying it. Umm I'm going to be able to design my own custom-designed dream course on twoK and honestly, you guys probably want some other person to win because I am going to make this course cooked. "
"It's going to be hard. It's going to be, well, it's going to be playable, going to be just unreal. This is almost like a kid's dream to design your own course," he added.
After the eight holes of the 2024 Creator Classic, it was Wesley Bryan who topped the leaderboard at 2-under, one stroke ahead of Roger Steele, Sean Walsh, and Luke Kwon. The four competed in a playoff and ultimately, it was Kwon who triumphed after hitting a birdie on the first playoff hole.
"It was so much fun"- Paige Spiranac relishes the challenge at the Creator Classic
Paige Spiranac opened up about her performance and experience of playing in the first edition of the Creator Classic. The social media sensation said it was fun for her to participate in the tournament and that she enjoyed her outing.
"You know, it was so much fun to, like, get that competitive, like spirit going again. There are times when I love that feeling. There are times when I hate it. And so, it was fun to like to feel those nerves and feel those jitters and then to like get those birdies and feel like you're in it for a little bit," Spiranac said (via PGA Tour).
"And then that disappeared. But it was awesome. Such an amazing experience, such a beautiful golf course. And the fact that we're here doing this on this stage is really, really special," she added.
Although Paige Spiranac had not played professional golf in nearly eight years, she delivered a decent performance at the 2024 Creator Classic.
Spiranac turned professional after graduating from the San Diego State University in 2015. She competed on the Cactus Tour, where she won a tournament by defeating Hannah O'Sullivan in 2016.
