PGA Tour pro Max Homa praises his favorite baseball player

While in Japan, during a press conference at the Zozo Championship, Max Homa praised the Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani.

The American called the Japanese player the "best baseball player" and said it was a "dream scenario" to cheer for his favorite player from Japan. He said:

"It's really cool being here. Obviously, we have two Japanese players on the (Los Angles) Dodgers that are tremendous. One of which is (Shohei) Ohtani, who is the best baseball player I've ever seen. So it's quite cool to come here, I've actually seen quite a few times."
“I would be lying if I said I wish I wasn’t home a little bit so I could go to the game, or a game, but yeah, it’s neat to be here. I’m hopeful to see some more L.A. hats. And yeah, it’s been great, the run they’ve been on, it’s been very fun to watch," he added.

At the Zozo Championship, Homa has been impressive with his game so far. He shot three rounds of 73, 66, and 67 to settle in T37 at the event at 4-under. Nico Echavarria is currently leading the tournament at 17-under, followed by Justin Thomas. Max Greyserman is settled in third place.
