LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau prayed for the speedy recovery of former American President, Donald Trump, who was recently attacked during a rally. A gunshot erupted during Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.

In an assassination attempt, the former president was injured, with blood coming from his right ear. He was quickly dragged off the stage by US Secret Service agents and escorted out in a car. The incident shocked the world, and Bryson DeChambeau recently tweeted against such violence, wishing for the former president's speedy recovery.

"Violence deserves no place in this world. Praying for President Trump and his family. Wishing for a speedy recovery," DeChambeau wrote on X.

Donald Trump's son, Eric, shared a picture of his father on Instagram, in which Trump was seen raising a fist in the air despite being injured during the rally.

Notably, Bryson DeChambeau shares a strong bond with Eric Trump. Last month, when he won the US Open, DeChambeau celebrated his victory with Trump Jr. They even played a few shots together at Trump's golf course.

Bryson DeChambeau shoots 67 to bounce back at LIV Golf Andalucía

Bryson DeChambeau had a rough start at the 2024 LIV Golf Andalucía event on Friday, July 12, shooting 3-over 74. The American golfer began on the third hole and carded a bogey on the seventh, followed by two birdies on the next two holes.

He added another bogey on the 14th and encountered trouble on the 17th, where he shot a double bogey. Another bogey on the second hole resulted in his total score of 74.

However, after this challenging start, the 2024 US Open winner quickly rebounded with an impressive round of 4-under 67. He recorded four birdies along with an eagle and two bogeys in the second round, moving into a tie for sixth place.

Bryson DeChambeau will tee off for the final round on Sunday, July 14, six strokes behind the tournament leader Anirban Lahiri. Lahiri is vying for his first LIV Golf event victory this week, holding a commanding four-stroke lead heading into the final. The Indian golfer shot 69 in the first round, followed by another round of 66.

Notably, following the LIV Golf Andalucía event, Bryson DeChambeau will head to the final Major of the year, The Open Championship. He has performed well in Majors in 2024, and fans have high expectations for DeChambeau at The Open Championship.

The tournament, which boasts a purse of $16.5 million, will take place from July 18 to 21 at the Royal Troon Golf Club. It will feature a full field that includes PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and LIV Golf players, as well as other qualified professionals and amateurs.
