“Put up, or shut up” – LIV Golf’s Graeme McDowell voices interest in series that lets pros take on internet trolls
LIV golfer Graeme McDowell has voiced support for H8ER, a series that Sam Riggs of Barstool Sports launched in February 2024, which aims to draw out golfers' internet trolls and challenge them to a golf match. The first episode was aired on YouTube on 21 February and a teaser of the next was released yesterday.
Riggs shared the teaser on X and said:
“I honestly don’t know if anyone in history gets more hate for their golf game than I do. So we do a series where the haters get their shot. Alex — a 2.1 handicap. Fly ‘em out, put ‘em up, play straight up. Loser apologizes. H8er is back. Tomorrow. Ep 2.”
The LIV Golfer expressed his support in a reply to the tweet.
“This is a world class concept. Will be tuning in for sure. Put up, or shut up. Love it,” Graeme McDowell said.
Graeme McDowell will next play at LIV Golf Chicago from September 13 to 15. He is 27th in the LIV Individual Championship with 35.75 points, 159.42 behind the leader Jon Rahm's 195.17. Later in September, McDowell will participate in the Team Championship Dallas, the last LIV event this season.
