RBC Canadian Open champ Ryan Fox’s 'pace of play' gets a nod from PGA Tour winner amid slow play debate

RBC Canadian Open winner Ryan Fox's pace of play got a nod of approval from PGA Tour winner Michael Kim. The Kiwi golfer won his second tournament of the season at the recently concluded PGA Tour in Canada.

Fox was tied for the lead after four rounds with Sam Burns, and after defeating the American in a sudden-death playoff, he won his second event on the circuit. Following the final round, Michael Kim shared his opinion about the pace of play of the two-time PGA Tour winner on X, writing:

"Ryan Fox’s pace of play is aspirational 😂"

Notably, the pace of play has been a long-time topic of discussion for golf fans in the last few years, and even the Tour has taken measures to speed up the play. Earlier this year, the PGA Tour had a trial use of DMDs during the game to tackle the slow-play problem.

Following the completion of the RBC Canadian Open, players are heading for the upcoming US Open this week. The third Major of the year is scheduled to take place from June 12 to 15 at Oakmont Country Club.
