“Rory looks so out of place” – Fans react to McIlroy and his European teammate’s Halloween costume

Rory McIlroy and his European Ryder Cup teammates also joined the Halloween fever and were dressed in various interesting characters. The photographs were posted by his teammate Shane Lowry on his official Instagram page.

On Thursday, October 31, Shane Lowry posted a few photographs of Halloween. He dressed up as NFL superstar Travis Kelce while Europe's captain Luke Donald was sporting the Chicago Club's uniform. The 35-year-old Northern Irishman was dressed as Mario from Super Mario.

When will Rory McIlroy compete next?

Rory McIlroy will next compete in the DP World Tour Playoffs, set to take place in the UAE. The first event will be the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, to be held from November 7 to 10 at Yas Links in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The second event will be the DP World Tour Championship, scheduled for November 14 to 17 at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Earth Course, in Dubai, UAE.

McIlroy had a solid season, winning three titles. He claimed the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour and recorded three runner-up finishes. Further, he secured titles at the Wells Fargo Championship and Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the PGA Tour. He also narrowly missed the title at the US Open, finishing just one stroke behind Bryson DeChambeau.
