Sahith Theegala calls Scottie Scheffler the “least funny" guy on the team at the Presidents Cup

Sahith Theegala is ready to tee it off alongside his teammates at the Presidents Cup. During the pre-tournament press conference, however, he had some hilarious takes on members of his team.

Theegala was asked his opinion on the funniest guy in the team, and his answer was Max Homa. Theegala said that Homa was hard-working, but also knew how to relax and 'party his butt off'. Speaking via ASAP Sports, he said:

"The funniest guy on the team, I mean, it's probably Max. He's such a fun guy to be around. He's a work-hard, play-hard kind of guy. He grinds his butt off. He grinds his butt off. But he also parties his butt off I feel like. He's not like a big drinker or anything like that -- yeah, but just the well-timed remarks are pretty good."

Theegala remarked that Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa are the 'least funny' golfers on the Presidents Cup team.

"Scottie and Collin are probably the least funny because they think they're funny. And they are kind of funny but nobody lets them know they're actually really funny."

Theegala also spoke at length about the team dynamics with other golfers in the US Presidents Cup team.

Sahith Theegala calls Russell Henley 'naturally funny', says Brian Harman makes him laugh at the Presidents Cup

Sahith Theegala also shared some funny insights regarding other members of the team, including Russell Henley. He complimented Henley for being a naturally funny person. He said (via ASAP Sports):

"But a lot of these guys on the team are unintentionally pretty funny. Russ is a hilarious dude. He'll never give you anything in the media but he's so funny. He's not even trying to be funny. But he's just naturally funny. I don't know if he believes that. But he's naturally funny."

He also spoke about his relationship with Brian Harman, saying that he was the one team member that always made him laugh.

"Harms is another guy. Every time I look at him I laugh. Every time this week every time I look at him he's smiling what are you smiling at Harms. But we have a great team. And I think I might be the least funny guy on the team," he added.
