"Sat inside, watched 'Game of Thrones'" - Beau Hossler did 'nothing' to prepare for round of the year at Wyndham Championship

Beau Hossler was one of the golfers who completed his first round at the Wyndham Championship on Friday before the round got suspended due to darkness. He is currently sitting atop the leaderboard with a 10-under 60. He shot five birdies and one eagle on the front nine, followed by four birdies on the back nine, to finish at 60.

After round one, Hossler shared in an interview that he took no preparation for this round and enjoyed Game of Thrones on Thursday. Previously, round one was scheduled for Thursday but it was rescheduled due to weather inclement. Hence, the weather conditions on Thursday forced for a quiet day for Beau Hossler.

“Basically, I did nothing. Sat inside, watched 'Game of Thrones' for a bit, drank some coffee. My physio, we had some people over at the house and he made chicken parmesan. I guess I'm not great at taking days off, but when it's forced like that, you've kind of got to do it. Maybe I should do it more often,” Beau Hossler said ( via Golf Digest).

In the same interview, Beau Hossler also talked about his playing experience in the first round of the PGA event.

“There's five or six particularly daunting tee shots for me…blind and kind of got to curve it a little bit. In the past they've given me a bit of trouble; today, I drove it beautifully. Yeah, certainly from this golf course it's not particularly long, so from in the fairway you can make some birdies,” he added.

The rest of the round will resume at 7 am ET Saturday.
