Siblings Jessica and Nelly Korda share update on Sebastian Korda’s health after woes at the US Open
Jessica and Nelly Korda recently shared an update on their brother Sebastian Korda's health after the American tennis star missed a match in the last few weeks. Sebastian last played at the 2024 US Open in August but lost against Tomas Machac and has not competed in any official tournaments since then.
On October 12, Sebastian Korda shared a post on his Instagram account, providing an update on his health. He is recovering from right elbow surgery. The World No. 19 tennis player revealed that there were "some elbow issues," which prompted him to opt for surgery.
"Hi everyone, I wanted to update you all—I’ve been dealing with some elbow issues and my team and I decided surgery was the best option. Everything went great, and I can’t wait to be back on court soon. Thanks for all your support!"

Meanwhile, Nelly Korda is enjoying a break from golf this week, while her sister Jessica Korda announced last year that she would take an indefinite break as she recovers from a back injury. Earlier this year in February, Jessica welcomed her first child with her partner Johnny DelPrete.
Nelly Korda gives an update about her next outing
Nelly Korda has had a phenomenal season playing on the LPGA Tour in 2024. She has won six tournaments this season, including five back-to-back events. She last competed at the Kroger Queen City Championship and finished in the T5 position.
Korda has been on a break for a while and will next return to compete at the BMW Ladies Championship. The World No. 1 recently shared a post on her Instagram account, updating fans about her next events. She wrote:

The LPGA Tour players will next tee off at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea. The event will take place at Seowon Valley Country Club from October 17 to 20.
Following that, the players will next compete at the Maybank Championship in Malaysia. The tournament is scheduled for October 24 to 27 at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, this season, Nelly Korda has competed in 14 tournaments and made the cut in 11 of them. She started off her campaign with a T16 finish at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and then went on to win five back-to-back tournaments. Her sixth win of the season was at the Mizuho Americas Open.
