"That is nuts,"- Fans react as Viktor Hovland hits ace at Arnold Palmer Invitational
Viktor Hovland hit his fourth 'hole in one' on the PGA Tour on the seventh hole during Round 2 of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Bay Hill isn't an easy golf course to play on with thick rough and slippery greens, but Hovland had no problem hitting a perfect tee shot.
As soon as the 25-year-old's shot on the 183-yard par-3 rolled into the hole seamlessly, the Orlando crowd began roaring and applauding the young Norwegian golfer.
This is Hovland's fourth ace of his career and he tops the list of most hole-in-ones since the beginning of the 2021–22 season. His last ace was on the fourth day of last year's BMW Championship.
Golf fans were all in praise of Hovland on Twitter. Here's a look at some of the tweets:
"Wow. 4 aces on tour already. That is nuts."
"Damn 🙌⛳️ 2 hole outs back to back days from Viktor unreal 🤯 well done man what an ace indeed!"

"Wasn’t J. Day playing with Rickie a few weeks ago when he made an ace?"
"There is not luck involved. The men hit those irons very solid That’s the only way to get a hole in one."
"Cards? Hits, holes, scores, but not cards...the verb has to concern the shot, surely, not the bit afterwards with the pencil."
"Cameraman stared at the hole for 9 straight seconds instead of showing them celebrate."
"Looks like a long hit. Anyone know the yardage?"
"You go Viktor! You’re gunna be a star ⭐️"
"At first glance thought thus was gonna be a UFO video"
"A hole out and now a hole in one. Awesome"

Hovland finishes at 1-under, as Kurt Kitayama leads after Day 2 of the Arnold Palmer Invitational
Kurt Kitayama shot a second-round 4-under 68 to take a two-stroke lead after 36 holes at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Kitayama holed five birdies on Day 2 to take a two-stroke lead over Jordan Spieth.
"It's always a fun challenge keeping yourself in the moment,"Kitayama said later. "I feel like when you get conditions like this it's easy to kind of let things get away from you. For me, it's just keeping myself focused the entire way."
World No. 1 Jon Rahm was leading after the first round but slipped to T-13 after a poor second round of 4-over-par 76. The conditions were not easy either as the Spaniard had to face winds of up to 30 mph.
Although the conditions were challenging on Day 2 at Bay Hill, it saw a rare hole-in-one on the seventh hole from Norway's Viktor Hovland when he hit an ace on the par 3, 183-yard hole. However, this didn't help him much in the game as he finished 1-under, identical to his first-round score. He currently sits at T-20.
Chris Kirk had an incredible first round, but his second round was affected by the weather conditions and dropped to T-20 with a score of 3-over 75 on Day 2.
