“The sports nerd in me loves it”: Overjoyed Ludvig Aberg says Olympics feels 'bigger than golf'
Ludvig Aberg is all set to represent Sweden at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the men's golf event. The World No. 4 enters the tournaments as one of the favorites to win the event.
Golf at the Paris Olympics will begin on August 1 at Le Golf National. For Ludvig Aberg, it is a dream come true, as he will soon be making his Olympic debut. According to the 24-year-old, the whole experience has transcended beyond golf. Here's what Aberg said about his experience in Paris thus far (via the PGA TOUR):
"It makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than just golf, and walking around in the village yesterday, the sports nerd in me loves it."
Ludvig Aberg will tee off at the Paris Olympics alongside Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler at 4:11 a.m. ET. Xander Schauffele, Jon Rahm, and Viktor Hovland are another noteworthy group that will tee it off at 5:55 a.m.
