Tiger Woods’ ex-coach calls Bryson DeChambeau the ‘biggest star in the game of golf’ - "He gets it"
Tiger Woods ex-coach Hank Haney reacted to Bryson DeChambeau's popular make-hole-in-one-over-his-mansion challenge. The LIV golfer has been trying to achieve a difficult hole-in-one by hitting the ball over his Dallas mansion. He tries to hit the ball from one side of the mansion to get it straight into the hole on the other side of the mansion, without even seeing the hole.
Bryson DeChambeau's popular challenge has quickly become popular among golf enthusiasts. He has been trying to make an ace for two weeks now but has been unsuccessful so far.
On Tuesday, November 26, DeChambeau uploaded a video on his Instagram account of taking the challenge for the 14th day. Nuclr Golf later shared Bryson DeChambeau's latest attempt on their X (formerly Twitter) handle, writing:
"#DAY 14 — Bryson DeChambeau is throwing everything at this challenge! “NO WAY!!!!” 🫨 @BrysonLegion."
Interestingly, Tiger Woods' ex-coach Hank Haney reshared the video on his X account along with a caption praising the two-time Major winner. He wrote:
"@brysondech is the biggest star in the game of golf, he gets it and this hole in one challenge with a wedge over his house is a perfect example."
He has gained significant recognition for his golf-related content on social media. Besides his popular hole-in-one-over-mansion challenge, the Crusher GC captain's Break 50 challenge on YouTube went viral, garnering millions of views.
Bryson DeChambeau's unfortunate struggle on the 14th day of the ace-over-the-mansion challenge
DeChambeau started the challenge with only one attempt on the first day. But sadly, he missed making a hole-in-one. Although he tried taking two attempts on day 2, the struggle continued. It has been 14 days, and he has yet to accomplish this feat.
In the last two days, Bryson DeChambeau came very close to making the hole-in-one. In fact, on the 14th day, out of the 14 attempts, four were very close to the hole, with his fourth shot of the 14th day landing just a few inches from the hole. Something similar happened on the 7th, 11th, and 14th holes.
Check out the video of his attempt on Day 14 of the challenge:
On the 13th day, his seventh shot was very close to the hole, but he missed it.

He has not played in any official golf tournaments since the completion of the 2024 LIV Golf season in September. However, DeChambeau will be returning to play next month against Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler for a made-for-TV match called The Showdown.
The tournament will take place on December 17 in Las Vegas, where DeChambeau will partner up with fellow LIV golfer, Brooks Koepka.
