Tiger Woods’ ex-coach shocked as $69.65 airlines destroys Jennifer Chang’s clubs

Tiger Woods' ex-coach, Hank Haney, was shocked by the bag mishap involving Jennifer Chang. A couple of days ago, LPGA pro Jennifer Chang's bag and clubs were destroyed by Delta Airlines.

On Monday, November 11, Callaway Golf's Tour Content Creator and Manager, Johnny Wunder, shared a video showing Chang's bag destroyed and her clubs damaged.

Haney reposted the video and expressed his shock at the condition of the bag.

"Omg," he wrote.

Earlier this year, Delta Airlines was accused of mismanagement by the East Tennessee State men’s golf team, who shared a video of San Diego airport ground staff mishandling their clubs after arriving in California for the NCAA Championships.

The $69.65 billion airlines later apologized but maintained that the handlers were not their employees.

When will Jennifer Chang play next?

Jennifer Chang will next compete at the Annika, the penultimate event of the season. The Annika will be played at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, from Thursday, November 14, to Sunday, November 17.

The Annika will feature 120 players competing for a $3.25 million purse. While Nelly Korda has won here twice, Lilia Vu is back to defend her title; last year, she beat Alison Lee and Azahara Muñoz by a three-stroke margin. Besides Korda and Vu, the Annika will feature the likes of Charley Hull, Hannah Green, Brooke Henderson, and Lydia Ko in action this week.

As for Chang, she is ranked 109th in the LPGA Tour's Race to the CME Globe standings but must finish inside the top 100 to retain her LPGA card for next year. Chang has played in 11 events this season and missed four cuts. Her T14 finish at the Portland Classic was her only top-15 finish.

Jennifer Chang was last seen competing at the Lotte Championship, where she missed the cut after carding 7-over in 36 holes.
