Tiger Woods reportedly hits back at Erica Herman claiming he never had an agreement with her to live in his house
The Tiger Woods and Erica Herman controversy has been the talk of the town in recent days.
There was a new update on the controversy after Woods reportedly hit back at Herman, claiming no agreement was signed between them for her to live in his house.
Herman was challenged by Woods' lawyers, who claimed that Tiger's house is partially owned by a trust. Lawyers reportedly claimed:
"During their relationship, Mr. Woods invited Ms. Herman to live with him as his guest in the Residence. Mr. Woods never negotiated an oral tenancy agreement with Ms. Herman."
They added that there was neither an oral nor a written tenancy between Tiger Woods and Erica Herman:
"Nor was there ever a written tenancy agreement between Mr. Woods or the Trust, on the one hand, and Ms. Herman, on the other hand. Mr. Woods never transferred to Ms. Herman any ownership interest in or rights of possession to the Residence."
Earlier, Herman filed a lawsuit against Tiger Woods claiming that she was promised support and a residence at his house for at least five years. The agreement was made in return for the services, which were not clearly defined.
Erica Herman also detailed how she was deceived by Woods. She claimed that Woods asked her to pack her things for a short solo vacation and dropped her off at the airport. Upon her return, she was locked out of the house as the locks were changed. However, Tiger Woods' lawyers in return claimed that their client booked her a luxury resort and proved money for a new house.
Woods' Lawyers also stated that Herman and Woods were the parties to the problems she had brought up in her actions against the trust. According to the lawyers, Tiger claimed that there was no tenancy arrangement between them and offered Herman to live with him as a 'guest' at his home.
Tiger Woods and Erica Herman's relationship timeline
The duo's relationship started back in August 2017. At the beginning of their relationship, Woods and Herman agreed to an NDA, which they signed on August 9, 2017.
Based on the documents submitted by Herman in her Lawsuit against Woods, she supported him in all her good and bad times. It was only after her arrival that the legendary golfer won his first tournament on the PGA Tour in 2018, after five deficit years.
Later in 2019, when Tiger Woods won the Masters in the last 14 years and donned the green jacket again, it was Erica Herman with him. She called her relationship 'fantastic' back then, which had 'no end'.
After winning the Masters, Woods even shared a post on Instagram and wrote in the caption:
"Masters Champions Dinner quarantine style. Nothing better than being with family."
Back in 2021, when Woods was hospitalized after a severe accident, it was Erica Herman who did everything to stand alongside Woods.
Tiger Woods told Herman that he was ending their relationship on October 13, 2022. She was subsequently told that she was 'no longer welcome' at his home.
