Tiger Woods' son and Donald Trump's granddaughter make them proud at district meet

Tiger Woods' son Charlie and Donald Trump's granddaughter Kai are members of the same school, Benjamin School. They are also both golfers, with Charlie being part of the men's team and Kai helping the women's. Both teams just became district champions, giving their famous relatives something to be proud of.

The Benjamin School Athletics page shared a picture of Woods and his teammates, who had just won the district title. They held the trophy in their hands and posed for a photo with a statue at the course.

Trump shared a photo to her official Instagram with the same trophy. The only difference in this one was that it was the Class 1A Girls District. She shared a picture, a selfie, and a video of her golf swing.

Trump is committed to the University of Miami to play golf, while Woods has been working in amateur golf to eventually make it to the PGA Tour like his father. They are both notable names in the non-professional golf scene and now they both have district titles from the same school to their names.

Tiger Woods revealed how Charlie helps him prepare

Charlie Woods may only be an amateur who has not yet had a signature moment in golf. But he's someone that Tiger Woods, arguably the best golfer the sport has ever seen, trusts with his game.

He said at the US Open in 2024 via Sports Illustrated:

“I trust him with my swing and my game. He's seen it more than anybody else in the world. He's seen me hit more golf balls than anyone. I tell him what to look for, especially with putting. He gave me a couple little side bits today, which was great, because I get so entrenched in hitting certain putts to certain pins, I tend to forget some of the things I'm working on."

He continued, adding that his son helps keep him focused on what matters:

“I just want to see the balls rolling. He reminds me every now and again, which is great. We have a great relationship and rapport like that, and it's a wonderful experience for both of us.’’

Tiger Woods' own father was a huge part of his upbringing in golf, working hard to form him into an eventual 82-time PGA Tour winner and 15-time Major champion. Woods would love to see Charlie do the same, but he's adopted a different approach.

Their relationship, according to a source from PEOPLE, is much more laid-back. Tiger Woods is coaching Charlie on what he needs to do and how to play, but it's not as intense or frustrating as it could be. They can share a laugh while learning the game together.
