Tommy Fleetwood talks about "two of the best putters he's ever met" ahead of Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

After a third place finish at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Tommy Fleetwood is all set to compete in the 2024 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. This year's edition of the tournament will be played between Thursday, November 7th, and Sunday, November 10th, at the Yas Links Golf Course.

At the pre-tournament press conference, Fleetwood was asked about spending time with Ken Brown and David Howell on the course. The British golfer called Brown and Howell two of the best putters he has ever met.

Fleetwood said (via ASAP Sports):

"I always talk to the guys, especially Ken. We have had some great conversations about putting over the years, and I just always like seeing the guys and talking about the game. It's just nice being around people that are so passionate about the game still. And yeah, we were talking about putting and my putting, and a couple of things, and then Howler, two great putters, two of the best putters that I've ever met. So you're all picking things up and always learning."

Tommy Fleetwood also said that Ken Brown and David Howell want the best for him and are always there for him when he wants to have conversations, adding that this is something he loves about golf.

It's worth noting that Brown and Howell are professional golfers with a lot of experience under their belt. Brown has nine professional wins, five of which came on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. Howell has 7 career wins, five on the European Tour, one on the PGA Tour of Australasia, and the Beko Classic.
