WATCH: $300M LIV Golfer beaten by his teammates in a non-golf challenge
LIV Golf star Phil Mickelson is a golfing legend with 45 PGA Tour titles, including six major championship wins. However, he recently faced defeat in a non-golf challenge against his LIV Golf teammates.
On Tuesday, October 22, the official page of HyFlyers GC shared a video on Instagram where Mickelson, Brendan Steele, Andy Ogletree, and Cameron Tringale participated in a basketball shootout challenge.
First up were Tringale and the $300 million LIV Golf star. Mickelson managed to score only two points, while Tringale made three baskets before time ran out. Next were Steele and Ogletree, with Ogletree dominating his opponent with a 6-0 win.
In the final round, Ogletree emerged as the winner, posting a 3-1 victory over Tringale. Here's the video:

Phil Mickelson will not compete at the International Series Thailand from Thursday, October 24, to Sunday, October 27, at Thai Country Club.
Although Mickelson is not participating in this week's Asian Tour event, several LIV Golf professionals have entered the field. Names like Sam Horsfield, Danny Lee, Peter Uihlein, Jinichiro Kozuma, Branden Grace, and brothers Kieran and Scott Vincent will compete for the $2,000,000 purse.
