WATCH: Bryson DeChambeau fires wedge shots over his Dallas mansion for third straight day
Bryson DeChambeau took another attempt at making a hole-in-one over his Dallas mansion. The American golfer has been trying a new challenge and updating fans daily about his progress. He’s been attempting to make an ace over his mansion in Dallas but has apparently been unsuccessful, failing repeatedly.
For this unique challenge, Bryson DeChambeau tries to hit the shot from the front side of his house, sending the ball over the roof to reach the other side, where the hole is located. He’s aiming to get the ball straight into the hole in just one shot.
It’s been three days since the 31-year-old started, and he’s still working to complete it. On day three, the 2024 US Open winner attempted to make the ace in three shots. However, his first shot traveled too far from the hole, "off a rock."
"I didn't hit hard enough. I didn't calculate the wind," DeChambeau said after his failed attempt.
DeChambeau then took a second shot but missed it by about five feet. Finally, he took his third attempt of day three and it was a brilliant shot but, once again, just missed the hole by a narrow margin.
"What is going on? That’s day three! No, all right?" DeChambeau said after the disappointing outing.
However, the 31-year-old is optimistic about giving it more attempts to make it to the hole.
"That was day three. We came really close, but tomorrow’s day four. Stay tuned," he added.
