WATCH: Bryson DeChambeau misses 'ace over his mansion' by inches on Day 14 of trying
Bryson DeChambeau missed an ace over his mansion by just a few inches on the 14th day of the Challenge. The American golfer, who is now spending time away from official golf events as LIV Golf wrapped up its third season, is enjoying making more golf content for his fans on social media. The two-time Major winner is in the headlines for his popular "ace over his mansion" challenge, which he has been attempting for two weeks now.
Bryson DeChambeau has been aiming to make an ace by hitting the ball over his mansion so that it lands straight into the hole on the other side of the mansion. He decides his number attempts depending upon the day he has been trying the Challenge. Beginning on the first day, the 31-year-old tried to make it in only one attempt, then two on the second day, three on the third, and so on.
On Day 14, Bryson DeChambeau had 14 attempts to make the hole-in-one over the mansion, and he came very close but failed each time. It was one of the unluckiest days for the Crushers' GC captain.
On his first three shots, the ball landed some distance from the hole, but the fourth attempt was very close. The ball hit the ground, bounced, and stopped just a few inches from the hole.
However, it was not the only unlucky shot on Day 14. His seventh shot also landed in the same way, touching the ball from the fourth shot, and he missed the hole again by just a few inches.
Bryson DeChambeau encountered a similar situation on his 11th and 14th shots, but unfortunately, it was not his day, and he failed to make the hole-in-one over his Dallas mansion on Day 14.
Notably, Bryson DeChambeau's challenge is going viral on the internet. His reels on Instagram have garnered enormous views, with all 14 days receiving millions of views.
The most popular day was Day 11, where he struggled with his game but still attracted over 8.2 million views on Instagram. Day 14 has 2.9 million views, Day 13 has 6.6 million, and Day 12 has 4 million.
