"It's so good"- Ripper GC captain Cameron Smith talks about his team winning LIV Golf Team Championship

Cameron Smith opened up about his team’s performance in a press conference after the tournament. He praised his teammates, coaches, caddies, and all the other members of the team.

Speaking about Ripper GC's amazing victory, Smith said, via ASAP Sports:

"Mate, it's so good. I mean, not only great golfers but they're better people. I think that's what being a Ripper is all about. Just so happens that we're good golfers, too. It's a good combo. But to have those three guys out there today, or six other guys really to lean on trying to get the job done, there was something in me that was telling me that we were going to be all right."

Smith was the highest scorer for his team in the finals. He teed off on the first hole with a bogey but then improved his game and shot five birdies. He carded two birdies on the front nine and three on the back nine for a score of 4-under.

With the conclusion of the Team Championship, the 2024 LIV Golf season came to an end. Jon Rahm won the individual championship of the season, and Ripper GC was the Team Championship winner.
