WATCH: Day 2 of Bryson DeChambeau attempting an ace with wedge shots over his Dallas mansion
Bryson DeChambeau tried to make a hole-in-one over his mansion. The LIV golfer is having a great time creating more online content now that he is free from a regular golf schedule. With the conclusion of the third season of the Saudi circuit, the 31-year-old is currently enjoying time away from official tournaments but is still on the greens.
Bryson DeChambeau recently took on an interesting challenge that he shared on social media for his fans, which is, attempting to make a hole-in-one over his mansion. He failed on day one and tried again on the second day.
Nuclr Golf recently posted a video on its X (formerly Twitter) account of his second-day attempt, where DeChambeau used a wedge. In his first attempt, the ball landed just five feet away from the hole, and his second shot missed by a similar distance.
Check out day 2 of Bryson DeChambeau attempting to make an ace over his Dallas mansion below:
For this unique challenge, DeChambeau has a simple rule. On day one, he tried to make the hole-in-one in one attempt, and this increased to two attempts on the second day. Since he missed on day two, he plans to try again on day three with three attempts.
"Alright guys, that's day two. Tomorrow is day three, which means I get three attempts. And guess what? I'm not stopping until I make it," DeChambeau said.
Bryson DeChambeau has become very active on social media since joining LIV Golf, regularly sharing content on various platforms and enjoying a substantial fan following.
When will Bryson DeChambeau return to play?
Fans are eagerly awaiting Bryson DeChambeau's return to competition in official tournaments after being away for a while. However, they only need to wait one more month, as DeChambeau will play in an upcoming made-for-TV event titled The Showdown.
The exclusive tournament will take place on December 17 in Las Vegas, featuring LIV players competing against PGA Tour golfers. DeChambeau will team up with five-time major winner and fellow LIV player Brooks Koepka to face off against current World No. 1 and 3, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
Last month, DeChambeau shared his excitement for the tournament on his X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:
"It’s official, Brooks and I will be taking on Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlory in a 18 hole match on December 17th. This is going to be one for the ages!"
Notably, at the 2024 U.S. Open earlier this year, DeChambeau won by a single stroke over McIlroy. The Northern Irish golfer stumbled in the final holes and narrowly lost the title.
Now, as the year comes to an end, fans will finally see McIlroy and DeChambeau face each other in one of the most anticipated tournaments.
