WATCH: Drunk Bryson DeChambeau swings with glow balls into the darkness, keeps US Open trophy on the side

Bryson DeChambeau celebrated his thrilling win at the 2024 US Open by chugging wine and swinging golf balls. The American golfer recently claimed the second Major of his career at the Pinehurst No. 2 Golf Course. In a neck-and-neck competition, the LIV golfer narrowly defeated Rory McIlroy to take home the prestigious trophy.

DeChambeau later celebrated his victory with Larry Glick, EVP of Development at the Trump Organization, and Eric Trump, son of former US President Donald Trump. Glick shared a video of a drunk DeChambeau playing a few shots at the Trump National Golf Club Westchester while keeping the 2024 US Open trophy nearby.

In complete darkness, DeChambeau took a shot with a ball illuminated by colored lights. After hitting the ball, he raised his hands in celebration, suggesting he made a good shot even in the dark.

Eric Trump also shared the story on his Instagram and posted a congratulatory message celebrating DeChambeau's win.

Earlier, on Monday, June 17, Eric Trump celebrated the LIV golfer's incredible win by making DeChambeau drink wine from the trophy. The 30-year-old golfer poured the wine into the jug of the US Open trophy and drank it. Larry Glick shared the video on his Instagram page.

It's important to note that Eric Trump is the Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, which owns several golf courses around the world. He celebrated Bryson DeChambeau's victory at the Trump National Golf Club Westchester, one of the golf courses owned by the Trump Organization.


Bryson DeChambeau's neighbours surprised him following his win at the US Open

Bryson DeChambeau celebrated his incredible victory with his family and friends. After returning to the home where he was staying, he was surprised by his neighbors. The American golfer shared this memorable moment on his Snapchat story, mentioning that his neighbors came to celebrate his victory.

Bryson DeChambeau won the Major by just one stroke over Rory McIlroy, earning $4.3 million in prize money. Additionally, he was granted 100 ranking points, which elevated his ranking from No. 38 in the world to No. 10.

This was his second Major win, having previously won the US Open in 2020. DeChambeau also won the US Amateur in 2015 by defeating Derek Bard 7&6 before starting his professional career. With his incredible victory at the 2024 US Open, Bryson DeChambeau became the fourth player to win the US Amateur and multiple US Open titles.

DeChambeau also fared well in the early two Majors he played in 2024. He was runner-up at the PGA Championship and tied for sixth place at the Masters in April.

DeChambeau will be playing at the final Major of the Year next, The Open Championship, scheduled to take place in July. He will seek to win the Major and become the first player since Tiger Woods in 2000 to win the US Open and British Open in the same year.
