WATCH: Esther Henseleit shows off her Olympics silver medal at the AIG Women's Open
Esther Henseleit, who won the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is currently teeing it off at the AIG Women's Open Championship this week. The AIG Women's Open is the last major in the women's circuit, scheduled to take place from August 22 to 25 at the Old Course.
Before teeing off for the first round, Henseleit proudly displayed her Olympic silver medal to everyone at the Old Course. In a video shared by the Ladies European Tour’s official X handle, Henseleit could be seen flaunting her medal by wearing it and posing for pictures.
“Esther Henseleit bringing her bling to The Home of Golf!” the post was captioned.
At the Olympics, Esther Henseleit’s score was 8-under-280. In the opening round, she shot five birdies to finish at 72. This was followed by four birdies and five bogeys on the second day to land at 73. In the third round, she fired six birdies to finish at 69 and on the last day, she carded seven birdies along with a bogey to end up at 66.
