WATCH: Jon Rahm, Cameron Smith and other LIV Golfers hilariously fail to guess the size of a golf ball
LIV Golf players, including Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith, recently tried to guess the diameter of a golf ball. Despite being professional golfers, most of them hilariously failed.
The actual diameter of a golf ball is 1.68 inches (4.26 cm), but only two golfers correctly guessed it. The incorrect guesses ranged from 2.14 inches to 4.5 cm.
Some players refused to answer, adding to the humor of the video. The official LIV Golf account later noted that they had forgotten to ask US golfer Bryson DeChambeau.
LIV Golf is currently in it's third season. The Individual Championships are scheduled to take place from 13th to 15th September 2024 at Bolingbrook Golf Club, Chicago.
Spanish golfer Jon Rahm currently leads the individual points standings, followed by Joaquin Niemann and Tyrell Hatton. In the team standings, Crusher GC is at the top, with Legions XIII and Ripper GC close behind
LIV Golf partners with Aero for the Team Championship in Dallas
LIV Golf has partnered with Aero to create a unique VIP experience for their Team Championship. The Team Championship will take place from 21st to 23rd September 2024 at the Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas, Texas. The golf course is one of the most challenging courses in the state.
The special VIP package includes a round-trip semi-private flight from Los Angeles to Dallas and back. VIP guests will stay at the Rosewood Mansion in Turtle Creek for two nights and will be provided with transportation to and from the airport and event venues.
The VIP package includes access to a Sports Illustrated party with a special DJ and entry to the Club 54 lounge overlooking the 18th green. On Sunday night, VIP guests will have exclusive access to a closing party featuring a special DJ.
VIP guests will have the opportunity to meet LIV Golf players and play a round with three of them at Maridoe during the inaugural Aero Am. While the specific players are yet to be announced, LIV Golf boasts a roster of top golfers including Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, and many others.
The VIP package is limited to only 16 people. Each package costs a whopping $17,000.
