WATCH: Large crowd of fans swarm Tiger Woods at Pinehurst after practice
Tiger Woods was surrounded by a large crowd of fans after completing his practice at the Pinehurst No. 2 Golf Course. The legendary American golfer is gearing up to tee off at the upcoming Major, thanks to a special exemption he received from the United States Golf Association (USGA).
In keeping with his tradition of practicing at the venue ahead of the Majors in 2024, Tiger was joined by his son Charlie and his caddie to take a few shots at the US Open venue. Following his practice, he was surrounded by a large crowd seeking his autograph.
Fans can watch him play this week at the US Open, starting Thursday, June 13, at the Pinehurst No. 2 Golf Course. Having won the Major three times in his career, he will be looking to add to the trophy count.
However, Tiger Woods has struggled with his game in the last two Majors he played in 2024. Although he made the cut at the Masters, a terrible third round placed him at the bottom of the leaderboard. He also struggled to make the cut at the 2024 PGA Championship. Hopefully, things will change for him at the US Open.
Tiger Woods' odds to win 2024 US Open
Tiger Woods has a slim chance to win this week at the US Open, with odds of +30,000, according to Fox Sports. While he has performed exceptionally well at Majors throughout his career, winning 15 of them, he has been struggling with his game recently. He has won the US Open three times, but due to injuries and surgeries, he has limited his participation in professional events.
