WATCH: Paige Spiranac shows off her golf swing in mint green outfit
Paige Spiranac is always working on her golf game, and she routinely shares that with her followers. Since leaving professional golf, she's created a social media presence with millions of followers. On November 7, she took to X to provide a look at her swing in a stunning green outfit.
Spiranac's nine-second video showcased two things. First, her golf swing, which in this case was a wedge shot out of the grass, was on display. Second, her outfit, which was full focus after the initial shot, matched from the skirt to the top and even the golf glove.
Spiranac's outfits are often a big part of her social media content. She routinely dresses well on the golf course, although it's not what most golfers wear. This is intentional, as one of the golfer's biggest annoyances with the sport is the dress code.
Spiranac, months ago, revealed that she initially began dressing like this because she started as a gymnast. The clothes she had, which were leggings and tank tops, were comfortable and worked just fine for golf.
She added via Daily Mail:
"That's how I learned the game of golf on public golf courses where there wasn't a strict dress code."
The former LPGA Tour star also said she thinks a lot of prospective players are hesitant:
"It can be very stuffy and it can be not very welcoming at times. Because you're so scared about "what am I wearing, what am I doing, am I gonna - you know - upset a member at a country club or all of these things."
Spiranac wants to see the game grow, but she also understands that there are some limitations for certain players. She has decided, however, to play the game in her own way and dress how she wants.
Paige Spiranac once offered the key to improvement in golf
Paige Spiranac has a lot of experience in golf. She played and was a prominent player in college and briefly on the LPGA Tour. She eventually decided that the professional sporting life was not for her, opting instead to go into content creation.
Few content creators have the insight that a former professional would, and Paige Spiranac puts that to good use often. Several weeks ago, she offered some advice on how golfers can improve to her four million followers on Instagram.
She asked if people wanted the "secret" to lowering their scores on the golf course:
"All you need to do is practice your short game! I see so many people just banging balls on the range and neglecting their wedge shots, chipping and putting. Dedicate time to your short game and watch your scores drastically improve. Just takes a little hard work!"
Every aspect of golf, from the tee to the pin, plays a role in success, but the former LPGA star sees too many players ignoring their short game.
