WATCH: Rory McIlroy stars in latest video from 1.2 million-follower Instagram influencer
Rory McIlroy was last seen at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. He placed T4 with a score of 12-under. While in Dubai, McIlroy also collaborated with cooking influencer, Nikolai Savic.
The social media personality is known for his cooking transition videos on Instagram. He has a staggering following of 1.2M on the platform. Savic recently posted an amusing reel with McIlroy where he is seen giving the Northern Irish star a golf ball to hit.
As the golfer hits a long shot the camera moves to a set of lamps placed on the course. Savic's hand goes towards a bulb and plucks it which he eventually gives to Rory McIlroy, the way the video started.
The reel is supposed to look like a loop of events. The special effects and editing make it look like the golf ball is the bulb or vice versa.
Savid wrote in the reel: "You can't transition a Golf player,"
The 5-time Major champion sported a dark attire with a white cap and shoes in the video.
Rory McIlroy struggled with windy conditions in Dubai and could only put forth a decent performance. Tyrrell Hatton went on to win the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
