Puig had some impressive performances in the 2024 LIV Golf season. After playing in 13 tournaments of the season on the Saudi Circuit, he finished in 26th place in the standings.

The Spanish golfer also had one finish in the top 10 this season but recorded some notable finishes such as T11 at the LIV Golf UK, T13 at the Greenbrier event, and T15 in Las Vegas and the Jeddah event.

In addition to his regular LIV Golf events, Puig also qualified for three Majors in 2024. However, he missed the cut at the PGA Championship and The Open and finished in 55th place at the US Open.

The 22-year-old also represented his country at the Paris Olympics alongside Jon Rahm but struggled with his game and tied for 40th place.

Meanwhile, Sergio Garcia has fared well this season. He won the AndalucĂa event and had three runner-up finishes. He also had two more finishes in the top-10, finishing third in the season standings.
