"We're game on"- Si Woo Kim's cool response to claiming sole morning victory with Tom Kim on Presidents Cup Day 3

On Day 3 of the Presidents Cup, Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim were one of two point earners for the International team. Following their win in the morning fourball, Si Woo had a cool response.

On Saturday, September 28, Team USA won both the foursomes and fourball sessions, collecting 6 points compared to the International team's 2 points. Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim won their four-ball match against Keegan Bradley and Wyndham Clark 4&3.

Following the win, Si Woo Kim gave an interesting answer, reflecting on his performance.

"I knew I needed to points to bring it to the game on, so, yeah, we’re game on," he told Golf Channel.

The South Korean duo failed to repeat the fourball result in the afternoon foursome session and went down against Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele on the final hole.

However, a couple of holes earlier, Si Woo Kim made an impressive chip from an awkward position. After grabbing an eagle, he made the 'night night' gesture of NBA star Steph Curry.

"It was just exciting," he said during the post round interview. "That's what we needed. I didn't expect the ball was going to go in, but I was so excited. Yeah, my favorite NBA player is Steph Curry, so that's what I did. It didn't finish well, but yeah, I was excited.

Following the four sessions of golf, Team USA holds a four-point lead over the hosts. Team International will need eight and a half points to win the event. If they manage to turn it around on Sunday, it will be their second win in the tournament's history.

Si Woo is paired against Keegan Bradley for the singles session. The duo will tee off on Sunday, September 29 at 1:02 pm ET.
