Where is the LIV Golf Tucson being held? All you need to know about the venue
The next LIV Golf event will be played at The South Course at The Gallery Golf Club, Tucson, USA. The event will take place from Friday (March 17) to Sunday (March 19).
The South Course has a history of hosting some important events on the PGA Tour. The John Fought-designed course has organized the Match Play Championship for two years. Fought has also co-designed the North Course alongside Tom Lehman at The Gallery. The South Course was also nominated as one of Golf Digest’s 100 Best.
While Fought has five professional victories, Lehman has been successful in 35 professional events. His biggest win came at the 1996 Open Championship at the Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s Golf Club.
The South Course incorporates mounded green complexes and sprawling fairways and carries similarities to Pinehurst No. 2, a creation of Donald Ross. Just like its predecessor, the South Course takes the benefit of the natural landscape to create a seamless integration with its surroundings.
