Which golfers have qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics? Full field explored

The 2024 Paris Olympics are all set to begin on July 26, and the golf event will take place from August 1 onward. The event will be held at Le Golf National, Guyancourt, southwest of central Paris.

The conclusion of the U.S. Open also finalised the field of 60 golfers that will participate at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The field for this year's Olympics will include some of the biggest names in golf, including the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.

The field will also see some of the best up-and-coming golfers on the pro golf scene, including Ludvig Aberg and Thorbjorn Olesen. LIV Golfers too, will be a part of the field for the quadrenniel event, with Jon Rahm and Adrian Meronk qualifying for their respective nations.

The qualifying criteria for the 2024 Paris Olympics allows the top 15 ranked golfers in the world to be a part of the field directly. Only four golfers from one particular country can participate in the Olympics, though.

This year, six out of the top 10 athletes in the world are Americans, which means that the two lowest ranked golfers, Patrick Cantlay (OWGR 8) and Bryson DeChambeau (OWGR 10), will not be a part of the field. The US Field will comprise Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, and Collin Morikawa.

The rest of the 45 golfers, who are not part of the top 15, are chosen by each country. There is a limit of two participants per country for these bids.
