The race for the 2024 John Deere Classic title is heating up, as Aaron Rai and C.T. Pan find themselves in joint contention going into the weekend. Moving day will be critical for all golfers to make a run at winning the title, especially the likes of Jordan Spieth.
The two time former champion barely managed to make the cut for the 2024 John Deere Classic, sitting at a score of -6 after the first two rounds of the tournament. CT Pan and Rai both have a cumulative score of -14 after they shot identical rounds of 65-63 over the first two days.
Amateur golfer Luke Clanton once again finds himself in the mix to win a PGA Tour event. With an overall score of -12 and rounds of 63-67, he finds himself sitting tied for fourth place alongside Denny McCarthy, Sungjae Im, Davis Thompson and Eric Cole.
Round 2 of the John Deere Classic also saw the cut being made at -5. Golfers with a score of -4 and below failed to make the cut. The likes of Nick Dunlap, Harry Higgs and Brandt Snedecker failed to make the cut this weekend.
