Billy Horschel made good use of his front nine in the third round of the Open Championship, finishing with four birdies and no bogeys. He carded two bogeys on the back nine to finish at 4-under for 54 holes.
However, Horschel's performance combined with a poor round from the previous day's Open Championship leader, Shane Lowry, who shot 6-over for the round and dropped to T8.
Justin Rose and Daniel Browm share the second place, now joined by four players who have moved up several places on the leaderboard. Thriston Lawrence and Sam Burns moved into second place after posting the best score of the third round (6 under).
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in eighth place, but only two shots off the lead.
