Lydia Ko carded an impressive bogey-free final round of 9-under 63 to win the Kroger Queen City Championship thanks to an eagle and seven birdies. This marked her 134th bogey-free round since 2014, solidifying her position as the undisputed leader in this category on the LPGA Tour.
Here's what the 27-year-old had to say about her performance (via LPGA Tour News Service):
"I hung in there yesterday, and I said I know that Jeeno and a lot of the other girls aren't going to play bad golf, so I just got to try and play even better golf. To have a round like this to cap off a win is pretty special."
Ko's victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship marks her third LPGA Tour win of the 2024 season, following her triumphs at the Tournament of Champions and AIG Women's Open. Her remarkable year also includes clinching the Olympic gold medal at Paris 2024 and earning a well-deserved induction into the LPGA Hall of Fame.
