Who won the 2024 World Wide Technology Championship? Final leaderboard explored

The 2024 World Wide Technology Championship concluded on Sunday, November 10 in El Cardonal at Diamante, Mexico. Austin Eckroat carded the best score of the final round to win the tournament by one stroke.

Eckroat won the World Wide Technology Championship with a score of 24-under. The previous day's leaders, Justin Lower and Carson Young, tied for second place at 23-under.

Austin Eckroat carded 11 birdies and two bogeys in the 4th round to win the World Wide Technology Championship. This is Eckroat's second PGA Tour victory (2024 Cognizant Classic).

Eckroat became the seventh multiple-time winner of the season on the American-based circuit. The others are Scottie Scheffler (7), Rory McIlroy (2), Robert MacIntyre (2), Xander Schauffele (2), Nick Dunlap (2), and Hideki Matsuyama (2).

Justin Lower and Carson Young shot identical 7-under scores in the final round of the World Wide Technology Championship to finish tied for second at 23-under. Max Greyserman finished in solo fourth at 22-under.

Garrick Higgo carded a fourth round of nine birdies and one bogey (8-under) to climb 24 places up the leaderboard to tie for sixth. Wesley Bryan was also in the group of players tied for sixth place.

Defending champion Erik van Rooyen could only manage a 3-under score in this edition of the tournament. He finished in a tie for 64th place.
