Who won the RBC Heritage? Exploring final leaderboard for latest PGA Tour event

The Masters didn't seem to have much of an effect on the RBC Heritage. Despite its placement immediately following the biggest tournament the sport arguably has, the field was full of high talent and the winner of the Masters didn't experience a letdown after playing. Scottie Scheffler continued his superlative form, winning the RBC Heritage.

It was an excellent tournament, with several good performances and a very tight finale. Here's how things stood when the final ball was putted in.

Scottie Scheffler experienced no Masters hangover. Despite winning one of the more taxing tournaments in golf, he didn't opt out of this event and then went on to do quite well in his victory, furthering his dominant and nearly unprecedented run of late.

Ludvig Aberg also didn't experience any letdown. The Masters darling who finished second in his first-ever major appearance put on another show this weekend at Harbour Town and continued to show why he's been labeled a generational talent.

Rory McIlroy bounced back from another missed opportunity to complete his career Grand Slam with a very good performance at the RBC Heritage.

Several golfers did give Scheffler a run for his money, including J.T. Poston, Patrick Cantlay, Brice Garnett, Chris Kirk, Tom Hoge, and others. All told, the vast majority of golfers finished well under par. Only six were over par for the tournament.

Wyndham Clark bounced back after missing the cut last weekend at Augusta National, and he really gave Scheffler a run with a tremendous final round. Will Zalatoris, Akshay Bhatia, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, and others had really good showings as well.

Unfortunately, it was not all good for everyone. Several golfers had less-than-stellar outings. Despite there not being a cut, some players did not do very well this weekend. That includes Nick Dunlap, Kevin Kisner, Shane Lowry, and others who populated the bottom of the leaderboard.
