Pause for thought: Tour pros joke over Hideki's delayed downswing

Hideki Matsuyama in action at the US PGA Championship

As well as being the joint-leader after round two of the US PGA Championship, Hideki Matsuyama has one of the most recognisable swings in modern golf.

The Japanese, who looks well placed to claim his first major at Quail Hollow this week, has become renowned for pausing at the top of his backswing.

Matsuyama's method has certainly reaped rewards. He sits third in the world rankings after storming to victory in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational last week.

Yet that has not stopped the PGA Tour from having a good-natured joke at Matsuyama's expense, by asking his fellow professionals what they could do in the time he takes to complete his swing.

The answers are well worth a watch.
