Relaxed Rose heads to range with One Direction star following Masters play-off loss
The pain of losing a Masters play-off did not look to be weighing heavily on Justin Rose as the Englishman headed to the range with a celebrity partner on Monday, One Direction's Niall Horan.
Rose, the 2016 Olympic champion, performed superbly at Augusta, only to be beaten on the first extra hole by Sergio Garcia following a thrilling final round that will live long in the memory.
The classy Rose was admirably gracious in defeat as he offered warm praise to Ryder Cup team-mate Garcia, who had famously featured in 73 previous majors without tasting success.
And there was a smile on Rose's face the next day.
The Englishman posted a photo on Twitter of himself and noted golf fan Horan, captioned: "Range work this morning..."

Judging by his golf bag, we think Horan - who once caddied for Rory McIlroy in the par-three contest that precedes the Masters - might fancy playing with Bubba Watson next.
