Tiger Woods recreates a legendary Christmas movie as TaylorMade makes him the Santa

Tiger Woods has recreated a legendary Christmas movie as he became Santa Claus for TaylorMade Golf. They shared these posters on the occasion of Christmas on their Instagram account with various golfers associated with them, while Tiger was one of the golfers.

They shared the images on their Instagram with the caption:

"We did it again! 😱 #TeamTaylorMade got into the holiday spirit by recreating the iconic posters of some of our favorite Christmas movies. 🎄 (and yes, slide three IS a Christmas movie!)"

Tiger Woods wore a Santa Claus dress with TaylorMade Golf's Tiger Vacation written above the image. This was in reference to the popular movie 'Christmas Vacation' that released in 1989.

Apart from Tiger, prominent golfers associated with TaylorMade were featured in the post like Charley Hull, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Scottie Scheffler, Nelly Korda and Brooke Henderson. Hull, McIlroy and Morikawa were featured in a single poster that resembled a Home Alone theme.

Tiger Woods talks about his best season on the PGA Tour

Tiger Woods hasn't played competitive golf consistently on the PGA Tour for a while now. However, he has been competing in the Major championship events and some exhibition events like the PNC Championship.

During the recent pre-round press conference of the 2024 PNC Championship, Woods talked about his dominance on the tour, particularly the 2000 season, where he registered nine wins, including three Major championships.

"Yeah, that was a good stretch. I played well in that stretch," Tiger said. "Once I pieced it together in May of '99 is when it started to unfold, getting the PGA in '99, then I won three in that year, in 2000. Yes, I got on a hot run that summer," Woods said.

Continuing further, the 15-time Major championship winner talked about the hard part of that season.

"The hard part was the six months that you have to wait between the PGA and Augusta, all that added up, and every single time I played, all the questions. Winning three in a row real quick, of course, that happens over the course of a few months, but the buildup into 2001 was a lot. I think that was the harder part of trying to focus and build that up, and then at the same time preparing for that one moment, that week, and happened to do it," Woods said.

Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods narrowly missed out on winning the PNC Championship this week. They carded -28 for the event and remained tied for the first place with Team Langer.

However, Team Woods lost the playoffs as Team Langer successfully defended their title by winning the 2024 PNC Championship at Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
